Cookies
Short version: this website places no cookies and loads nothing from outside. That is why there is no consent banner either.
This is an English translation for convenience. If the English and the Dutch version differ, the Dutch version applies.
1. This website, goyou.io
This site places no cookies. Nothing is stored in your browser, there are no visitor statistics and there is no tracking pixel. So we do not know who you are, how often you come back or where you come from.
The site also loads nothing from other parties. The fonts are on our own server instead of at Google, precisely to prevent your IP address from ending up with a third party. There are no embedded videos, no maps and no social media buttons.
2. What does happen when you fill something in
If you sign up for the beta, what you fill in goes to our own database in Frankfurt. That is not a cookie: it only happens at the moment you press the button, and it is exactly what you filled in yourself. What we do with it is set out under Safety and privacy.
3. The app, app.goyou.io
The app is a separate environment from this website and works with a login. It does use cookies, and they are strictly necessary: they remember that you are logged in and which session is involved. Without those cookies you cannot work. They are not used to track you and nothing goes to advertisers, because there are none.
If a lesson contains a YouTube video, we load it through the version that only places a cookie when you press play.
4. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, and we do not use other cookies. That is why we do not ask you anything and there is no banner in the way. If we ever do place something that is not strictly necessary, for example to measure visits, we will ask for consent beforehand and it will be listed here first.
5. Refusing or deleting cookies
Every browser can block or delete cookies; how that works is explained in your browser’s settings. For this website it makes no difference, because there is nothing to block. If you block all cookies, you can no longer log in to the app.
6. Changes
