How it works · The lesson

Exactly what you get

Everything is connected and ready: presentation, instructions, practice work and tutor all fit together.

Presentation

Ready for the whiteboard. Built in three phases, introduction, core and close, with teaching activities that suit your group. You present, GoYou has it ready.

As the teacher, you decide how big the lesson is. Want just one activity for the last fifteen minutes? Then that is what you get. Want a full lesson that builds from starter to wrap-up? Then that is what you get. Either way, the slides point to the practice task that goes with them, so the lesson and your students’ work connect.

Instructions

Matched to your subject, your way of teaching, your class and your level. With notes for you at every step, so you know exactly what is intended.

Practice work

Tailored to each student, to their level and to their interests. Important: this is practice on what you covered with the whole class, not self-study. Students work through the tasks on their own, you see where they are.

The AI tutor

Goes through the material with every student, until it really sticks. Tightly framed: it stays within the material and the lesson you set, and hands questions it is not there for over to you.

Your own material

Already got something? Throw it in.

GoYou does not have to start from zero. You can add your own sources: a chapter from the textbook method you use, an article, an old PowerPoint, a worksheet, a link or a video. For each source, you say what should happen with it.

Textbook method as the base

Put in a chapter or topic from your existing textbook method, and GoYou turns it into a presentation that suits your class.

Turn it into practice work

Have a practice task made from that same material, with the tutor behind it adapting the material to the student’s interests and keeping pace with what they can handle.

You decide how strict

For each source you choose whether GoYou sticks to it strictly or is allowed to think around it, and whether it takes over the style, the images or only the content.

That way GoYou works alongside the textbook method your school chose, instead of against it.

“Can I change it?”

Yes, all of it. You tweak it, throw out what is wrong and add what is missing. GoYou supplies the material, you decide what happens: your lesson, your name on it.
